The mAc* Project to convert our Crypt into and Church and Community Youth Centre. This will be a great venue for young people. You’ll recall this is a plan to create a new Church & Community Youth Centre out of our Crypt – to include glass balustrading and graphics on the way in; sofas, [...] Organ Recital on Sat 3rd July 2010 at St Michael’s Broad St by James Scott, a Verger at Bath Abbey and also a very talented and nationally known organist, having held recitals at Westminster Abbey, Coventry, Birmingham, Bristol, Portsmouth and Hereford Cathedrals. Funds are needed for restoration work to the organ at St Michael’s and the evening [...] A good night with all age’s having a lot of fun. It was a shame not as many came as could have, but that’s football clashes for you. A few Photos below.
Please come and relax into being at Church! By that I mean go a bit easier on yourself when you come. Let God be God, rather than come tied up with all those notions of what we need to be to come to Church. We come with all kinds of pictures in our minds of what [...] Heartheadhands day at Trinity Cheltenham 8 of us went for the day, mostly to hear the speaker Kenny Borthwick, whom many of you will remember from New Wine a few years ago. The day started well with gallons of lovely proper(!) coffee available. The church was full with ages ranging from teenagers to a few more elderly, [...] Youth and Children and Families Workers We are about to put ads and job descriptions out to look for 2 workers at 10 hours pw each. One for youth work, one for children and families work. The youth work is obvious in a way, to get the mAc Base project up and rolling, to work with young people [...] ‘Sing & Sizzle’ Music for a Summer Evening from the choir, (about 30-40 minutes) followed by a barbecue in the church garden. ALL welcome to either or both parts. Music to include songs from ‘Sister Act’, a song by Bill Haley (something about a clock) and a farewell solo from Shan Lu. It’s been a real privilege to [...] |
