May Days – Sat 26th & Sun 27th May
We’ve been gathering ideas and seeking to renew our vision as a Church over the last months, starting with a Season of Prayer right through the autumn and winter. Robert said a bit about this at our Annual Meeting last week. We want to have an opportunity for the whole Church to join in this process, and so are holding 2 Days of listening, sharing and rejoicing (and just being together!) – PLEASE PLAN TO COME! – the basic details are…..
Saturday 26th will run 10 am – 5 pm, being led off by Simon Holland Vicar at Walcot (who led our 24 hrs leaders time away in January), and we will pray over and reflect together on various initiatives that have been suggested – using ‘stations’ around the Church buildings.
Sunday 27th (Pentecost) will be our ‘normal’ services, except we will invite the congregation to visit the stations for themselves, feedback what we have been hearing on the Saturday etc. We did this following our 2009 Vision Gathering day, and we all seemed to really enjoy being part of it!
