Pictures sometimes say it better than words…. Talking of ‘souls longing after you O God’, Psalm 42 and also the song version ‘As the deer longs for the water’ inspired Brian Gibson to create this piece of art, the original of which is mounted within glass, so translucent light shines through it.
It is also part of an exhibition – ‘Within without you’ – by about 15 artists ‘who work outside the mainstream’ (including other pieces by Brian). Running until Sunday June 10th in the Old Pet Shop off Lower Borough Walls (by ‘The Pigeon Park’!). Open 10-6 pm daily except for Bank Holiday Monday June 4th. Free entry.
