Youth and Children and Families Workers
We are about to put ads and job descriptions out to look for 2 workers at 10 hours pw each. One for youth work, one for children and families work.
The youth work is obvious in a way, to get the mAc Base project up and rolling, to work with young people we’re already in contact with, and build on the links Tom has worked on during his time with us.
Then, our Church Council also had a great faith appetite to see Children and Families work go forward – given the number of families in contact with us, both at Church itself. and through school, Playgroup and our own Noah’s Ark mid-week toddler group.
We would love both workers be committed to worshipping with us, and to working with existing (and new!) volunteers. The overall cost would be between £10,000 & £14,000 pa depending on if Tom’s house continues to be used. We will be seeking grant support, but also direct commitments from people to help this happen!
